India May Become Second Largest Steel Manufacturer in 2015
According to Indian steel industry minister, Paswan, India may become the second largest steel manufacturer by 2015.
Indian steel output is expected to hit 124 million tons during 2011 to 2012, and the demand would reach 110 million tons.
Currently, Japan is the second largest steel manufacturer in the world, and the annual output of crude steel is 120 million tons.
China is the first largest steel manufacturer, with crude steel output of 500 million tons.
