New General Director at VIZ-Steel

By the decision of the founder at VIZ-Steel, a part of NLMK Group, a new general director, Sergey Makurov, has been appointed. As informed by press department of the works, a 37 years old top manager was at the position of deputy general director for production.

Former general director of the works Alexander Demakov whose authority is terminated because of expiry of his job contract, is appointed to the position of advisor to general director.

VIZ-Steel is one of the leading producer of cold rolled electric steel and the largest producer of transformer steel in Russia. Over 80% of output is shipped for export. Production capacities are 200 thousand tons of electric steel.
